For ecology & planning consultancies

Evidence from the squares your project cannot leave to chance.

BioBounty runs targeted, time-bound, verified wildlife observation campaigns across defined project squares—so your appointed ecology team can focus field time where the evidence needs it most.

Traceable observation evidence to inform qualified ecological work—not a substitute for it.

BioBounty Verified Baseline Sprint

A bounded evidence campaign for an agreed site boundary and survey squares. Designed for the consultancy leading ecological and planning work, with developers as informed project sponsors.

From campaign brief to evidence pack in a standard 10-business-day sprint.

Timing remains subject to site access, seasonality, weather, and bounty uptake.

01

Campaign boundary, priority zones, target signals, and collection window

02

Funded bounty deployment across agreed project squares

03

Live coverage view for collected, pending, rejected, and verified records

04

Verified Evidence Pack with observation register, media references, and data dictionary

05

Ecologist hand-off brief plus secure raw-data export for the appointed consultant

Verification-first collection

Less blind searching. More useful ecological follow-up.

The bounty map mobilises community supply. The campaign controls keep that supply tied to a site, a deadline, and a reviewable evidence trail.

01

Capture

Eligible evidence is captured in-app inside the campaign square and window.

02

Assess

Location, time, device signals, duplicates, confidence, and reputation are evaluated.

03

Hand off

Accepted and flagged records retain their review trail for qualified ecological follow-up.

Built for scrutiny

Every accepted record keeps its context.

Observation media, campaign square, capture time and location fields, confidence signals, attestation where available, review status, and fraud or duplicate flags travel with the evidence pack.

The result is an operational evidence layer your appointed consultant can interrogate, triage, and take forward.

Important boundary

Evidence, not statutory sign-off.

BioBounty provides traceable observation evidence to inform qualified ecological work. It does not provide statutory BNG compliance, metric calculations, habitat-condition assessment, planning submissions, or planning sign-off.

The statutory process and professional decisions remain with the appointed ecology and planning team and the relevant authority.

Discovery / pilot

Turn your site boundary into an evidence campaign.

Start with a 30-minute discovery brief. We’ll assess fit, define the initial campaign boundary, and outline the ecology hand-off required for a responsibly scoped pilot.

Straight answers

Know where the observation layer stops.

Can BioBounty replace our ecologist?

No. BioBounty gives appointed ecologists a more targeted observation layer and an explicit exceptions queue. Professional judgement, access permissions, survey design, and validation remain with the qualified team.

Does this provide BNG compliance or planning sign-off?

No. BioBounty does not calculate the statutory biodiversity metric, prepare a Biodiversity Gain Plan, assess habitat condition, deliver protected-species surveys, or provide planning or legal sign-off.

How is bounty fraud handled?

Capture is in-app and assessed with layered provenance and quality signals. Questionable observations remain visible as flagged exceptions rather than being silently promoted to fact.
